These glass straws are accented by a band of colored dots of varying sizes. These glass straws are available in both 7 mm and 9 mm diameter and can be straight or bent. The glass straws are made from high quality Simax brand borosilicate glass tubing which is high heat resistant and dishwasher safe (like Pyrex brand glass). They are a standard length of about 8.5 inches but contact me if you need a different length.

I began making glass straws for myself for various reasons, but mainly because they are non-toxic and I was tired of trying to recycle single use plastic straws. Plastic straws are not only damaging to the environment due to ending up in landfills and the ocean, but many plastics have been found to leach chemicals which can end up in your drink and your body. Since I get so many people asking me for them I would love to help others lessen their dependence on plastics by offering a glass option.
Please keep in mind that while these straws are very durable, glass can break! If your straw breaks please do not continue using a straw with a sharp broken end as it may cut you or continue to chip off pieces into your drinks. If your straw breaks please contact me for a discounted replacement.
I strongly recommend rinsing or cleaning your straw immediately after use to avoid hard to remove residue. Straw cleaners are available in stores and on the internet but a pipe cleaner can also work in a pinch.
